Stories are written for ages 2–12, and StoryBuddy instructs the AI to keep every story gentle, kind and free of frightening or grown-up themes. AI can still get things wrong, so we suggest reading along with younger children. If a story ever feels off, flag it from the story and we will review it.
Yes. If you subscribed in the iPhone app, it is billed through the App Store: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → StoryBuddy to switch plans or cancel. If you subscribed on the StoryBuddy website, email support@story-buddy.app and we will change or cancel it for you. Either way your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and your stories stay in your library.

Story generation typically takes 30-60 seconds depending on the length you choose. Short stories take about 2-3 minutes to read aloud, medium ones about 3-5 minutes, and long ones about 5-7 minutes. You'll see a progress indicator while your story is being written.
